Higgsfield Cinema Studio pricing, without the guesswork

No separate Cinema Studio SKU, a pricing page that shows more than one plan layout, and a $3 test pack. What the numbers actually buy, and how to budget the stills-first workflow.

The real price is the plan plus the credits you spend before the winning take.

The short answer

There is no Cinema Studio-only price listed on the Higgsfield pricing page. Cinema Studio is one tool inside the platform, and the official page sells plans and credits rather than a separate Cinema Studio subscription. That is the first thing to understand before comparing screenshots: you are not buying “Cinema Studio for $X”; you are buying access to a plan, and then spending the credit balance that plan gives you.

The second thing is that the pricing page changes. On 19 October 2026 it surfaced two different plan layouts during testing, plus a $3 one-time access pack. A third-party page that hard-codes one card as “the price” will be wrong for part of the audience or wrong next week. Treat the numbers below as a dated snapshot and the checkout page as the source of truth.

Two budgets meet on one desk: the still that decides the look, and the clip that makes it move.

What the official page showed on 19 October 2026

These are the numbers visible on the official pricing page at the time of writing. The page displayed different plan cards on different loads, so both observed layouts are listed rather than pretending there was one fixed view.

  • Basic monthly: $9/month, 120 credits per month, selected models only, up to 2 parallel video generations and 2 parallel image generations.
  • Pro monthly: $43/month, 900 credits per month, access to all models, 7 unlimited models, up to 3 parallel video generations and 4 parallel image generations.
  • Pro annual: $23/month billed annually, shown against a $29 monthly list price, with the same 900-credit allowance.
  • A second layout showed Starter at $15/month and Plus at $49/month monthly or $39/month annual, with different free-generation allowances.
  • The $3 one-time access pack: 40 credits, two days of unlimited Higgsfield Soul 2.0, fast generations and access to top models.
  • Prices exclude VAT and local taxes, which are calculated at checkout. Unlimited models and free generations are described by the platform as available on higgsfield.ai, not through MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer.

Why there is no single Cinema Studio price

Cinema Studio is a studio-style video environment, not a fixed SKU. The cost of using it depends on the plan, the version, the resolution and the length of the generation, and the number of references or parallel jobs you can run. The official page does not list a “Cinema Studio 4.0 price” because the same studio can be reached from more than one plan configuration.

The practical question is therefore narrower: can my current plan open the version I want, and what does one acceptable generation cost in credits? Check the model picker for the version, read the credit line before you press generate, and keep a small reserve for retries. A 30-second clip that needs three attempts is a different budget from one clean take.

For what the studio actually does, see Higgsfield Cinema Studio explained; for the stills console that sits before it, see Soul Cinema studio.

The $3 pack: a test, not a workflow

The $3 one-time access pack is the most useful line on the page for a first test. It gives 40 credits and two days of unlimited Higgsfield Soul 2.0, which is enough to judge whether the model’s look fits a project without committing to a monthly plan. It is not a free tier and it is not a long-term production budget; the unlimited window ends, and the credit balance is finite.

Use it to run a controlled test: one portrait, one night exterior, one frame with a bright practical. Compare those three against your reference, then decide whether a plan is justified. Do not use a two-day window to start a client sequence that will need revisions next week.

Three budgets that make sense

The plan only becomes meaningful when it is attached to a workload. These three scenarios cover most first purchases:

  • Solo look test: start with the $3 pack if you only need to test the platform, or pay for one month of the lowest plan if you already know you will iterate across several sessions.
  • Short film or music-video shot: budget for the monthly Pro tier, then treat the credit allowance as a shot budget rather than a monthly treat. Price one 30-second generation, multiply by the number of attempts, and keep a 30% reserve.
  • Small commercial project: annual Pro or a higher plan, with concurrency for parallel shots. Charge the plan to the project, not to the month, and export the winning frames and clips before the billing period ends.

The stills-first budget that saves the most

Cinema Studio is built around a hero-frame-first philosophy: settle the still before you animate it. That is also the cheapest order. A stills test is one frame at a time, and a failed frame is refunded; a video attempt is longer, more expensive and harder to judge until it is finished.

The independent stills console on this site starts at $12/month and renders frames up to 8K, with Soul ID and palette lock for sequences. Use it to decide the light, the palette and the cast; take only the frame that survives that test to Cinema Studio. If the still is wrong, the video was always going to be wrong.

The stills arithmetic is on Soul Cinema pricing, and the honest free-tier answer is on Is Soul Cinema free?.

What to verify before you pay

The checkout page is the only place where the final number is settled. Before you enter a card, check these six things:

  • Which plan card you are actually buying: Starter/Basic or Plus/Pro, monthly or annual.
  • Whether the model version you want is open on that plan; the pricing card does not list every studio version separately.
  • The credit cost shown on the generation screen for your chosen version, resolution and length.
  • Whether the output carries a watermark on your tier, and what commercial use is included.
  • Taxes and currency at checkout, not just the headline monthly number.
  • Cancellation and refund terms, and whether unused credits roll over (the platform’s credit rules are the answer, not a guess).

Frequently asked

How much does Higgsfield Cinema Studio cost?

There is no separate Cinema Studio-only price on the official pricing page. Cinema Studio is used through a platform plan and its credit balance. On 19 October 2026 the page displayed Basic/Pro and Starter/Plus layouts, plus a $3 one-time 40-credit pack; check the current checkout for the exact number.

Is there a free Cinema Studio trial?

The closest thing visible on the pricing page was the $3 one-time access pack with 40 credits and two days of unlimited Higgsfield Soul 2.0. That is a paid test, not a free tier. The platform’s free-generation allowances vary by plan and are described on its own page.

Which plan do I need for Cinema Studio 4.0?

The pricing page does not publish a separate Cinema Studio 4.0 tier. Plan access and model availability can change, so open the model picker after signing in and check whether your plan can select 4.0. If the version is locked, the product will usually point you to the plan that unlocks it.

Do credits work across Cinema Studio and Soul 2.0?

The platform presents one credit balance across its tools. Cinema Studio generations consume credits according to the model, resolution and length; the pricing page does not list a separate wallet for Cinema Studio. Read the cost line on the generation screen before you commit.

Is Cinema Studio free on the $3 pack?

No. The $3 pack is a one-time paid access product with 40 credits and a two-day unlimited window for Higgsfield Soul 2.0. Cinema Studio is a video workflow and its generations consume credits; the pack is a way to test, not an unlimited Cinema Studio pass.

Is Soul Cinema the same as Cinema Studio?

No. Soul Cinema is the independent stills console documented on this site; Cinema Studio is the video arm of the Higgsfield platform. The healthy workflow is stills first, then motion: finish the frame, then animate the winner.
