What do the plans cost?
Soul Cinema has three paid plans, billed monthly or annually. Basic is $12 a month for 120 credits and stills up to 4K. Pro is $29 a month for 600 credits, 8K stills, unlimited casts and the full set of 40+ locked looks. Max is $79 a month for 2,000 credits, batch sequences, a commercial licence for client work and priority support.

How do credits map to 2K, 4K and 8K frames?
Credits are charged per frame by output size: 2K costs 1 credit, 4K costs 2 and 8K costs 4. There is no per-seat or per-project charge on top, and credits refresh every month rather than rolling over.
That maths is worth doing before you subscribe, because the same allowance buys very different amounts of work depending on the delivery size. Basic’s 120 credits is 120 frames at 2K, 60 at 4K or 30 at 8K. Pro’s 600 credits is 600 at 2K, 300 at 4K or 150 at 8K. Max’s 2,000 credits is 500 frames at 8K — enough for a full campaign set delivered at the top size.

Is there a free tier?
No. There is no free trial, no free credits and no watermark-limited free render. The reasoning is straightforward: a cinematic still at 4K or 8K is not free to produce, and a tier that hides that cost behind a watermark tends to produce a worse first impression than a straight price.

What happens if a render fails?
Failed frames are refunded automatically. If a generation errors out or comes back unusable, the credits return to your balance without a support ticket, and a refunded frame is not counted against your monthly allowance.
This matters more than it sounds when you are running look tests. A test loop that costs a credit per frame is predictable; one that charges for failures is not, and predictability is what lets you plan a sequence budget in advance.
How does annual billing change the rate?
Annual billing lowers the effective monthly rate without changing what the plan includes: Basic is $108 a year ($9 a month), Pro $276 a year ($23 a month) and Max $708 a year ($59 a month). The credits are the same each month — only the price per month changes.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from the billing area of the account, and access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy rather than by a case-by-case promise.
What does the commercial licence cover?
The commercial licence is part of the Max plan. You keep the rights to the frames you render, provided you hold the rights to the people and the material you describe in the prompt — the licence covers your use of the output, not the subject matter you asked for.
Exports arrive at the resolution the model produced, with no watermark and no re-encoding. 8K is an AI upscale from a native 4K render, and the metadata records both sizes so a client can see exactly what they are getting.

Do credits roll over if I do not use them?
No. Credits refresh every month and unused credits do not carry forward, so the allowance to pick is the one that matches a normal month of work rather than a peak.
Which plan do I need for 8K stills?
Pro or Max. Basic renders up to 4K. At 8K each frame costs 4 credits: 150 frames inside the Pro allowance, 500 inside Max.
How do I pay, and in what currency?
Payments are handled by Stripe, with major credit and debit cards accepted. Prices are in USD and taxes may apply depending on where you are.
Can I cancel mid-month?
Yes. Cancel any time from the billing area; access continues to the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds follow the refund policy rather than a case-by-case decision.
